Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (85% lean/15% fat)
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp oil (for cooking)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
  • 4 smaller flour tortillas (fajita size)
  • 4 tostadas
  • 1 cup Colby Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 large Roma tomato, diced
  • 1/4 medium iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup jarred nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Avocado spray or cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef: Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef along with all the seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 3 minutes, breaking up the beef as it cooks. Once the beef is browned, stir in the tomato paste. Continue cooking until the beef is fully cooked and well combined with the tomato paste. Set the beef mixture aside.
  2. Assemble the Crunchwrap: On a flat surface, place one of the large tortillas. Spread a quarter of the cooked beef mixture in the center of the tortilla, leaving some space around the edges for folding. Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of nacho cheese sauce over the beef. Place a tostada on top of the beef and cheese. Spread 2 tablespoons of sour cream over the tostada, then add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sprinkle a quarter cup of shredded cheese on top.
  3. Add the Smaller Tortilla: Place one of the smaller tortillas on top of the layer of toppings. Press down gently to help everything stick together. Repeat this process with the remaining large tortillas, beef mixture, and toppings.
  4. Fold and Cook: Carefully fold the edges of the large tortilla over the smaller tortilla, making pleats as you go to enclose the filling. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and spray it with avocado or cooking spray. Place the folded Crunchwrap seam side down in the skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until the tortilla is lightly browned and crispy.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Once cooked, remove the Crunchwrap from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before cutting it in half. Serve warm and enjoy!

This Crunchwrap Supreme is a fantastic way to enjoy a hearty, flavorful meal with all your favorite toppings wrapped up in a crispy tortilla.

Perfect for a family dinner or a fun weekend treat, this recipe is sure to become a new favorite in your household.
