How to Make Bullet Points Smaller in Google Docs

You can change the size of the bullets by increasing the font size.

However, it also increases the font size, which may impact the overall appearance of your document.

Fortunately, you can increase or decrease the bullet size without affecting the font size.

In this article, you’ll learn how to make bullet points smaller in Google Docs.

How to Make Bullet Points Smaller in Google Docs?

Step 1: Select the bullets

The first step is to open the Google Docs document and go to the bulleted list.

Select the bullets now.

Make sure you only select the bullet symbols and not the list’s content.

Alternatively, you can select the complete bullet list > Go to Format > Bullets and numbering > List options > More bullets. Skip step 2 if you are following with alternative method.

Step 2: Right-click and select “More bullets”

After you’ve selected the bullets, right-click on them and choose “More bullets” from the context menu.

Step 3: Search for the bullet type

Now, click on the search field and search for the bullet style.

For example, I wanted to use the traditional black circle bullets. So I typed “Cirlce” into the search box.

You can search for various symbols of different sizes using this search bar.

Step 4: Select the bullet size from the search results

The symbols of various sizes will now appear in the search results on the left side of the pop-up.

Now, simply select your preferred bullet size.
